The CGCL Genealogy Room is open to the public during regular business hours. We invite you to come by and explore the resources available in our Genealogy Room, among which are two Microfilm readers equipped with printers, a genealogy computer for searching online databases, and countless volumes of genealogical records on the shelves. For assistance from our genealogical staff, or a special request, please call in advance.
CGCL also responds to genealogical requests by mail, phone, e-mail, or fax. We are now charging a fee for the time spent working on genealogical requests by appointment. This charge was put into place because CGCL can no longer continue to underwrite the costs of providing free genealogical research. The fee charges are $25.00 per hour, $.25 per copy, $1.00 per fax and appropriate postage for mail. However, there is no charge for doing your own research. The fees that are assessed will be used to add new materials to the Genealogy Room. We thank you for your support and understanding of this matter.
