Come to the circulation desk and get a PINES form to fill out. Information on what type of ID you will need is listed here. The first card is free.
Your card will have a unique barcode number. Please take care of your card. Treat it like a credit card. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MATERIALS BORROWED ON YOUR CARD, WHETHER FOR YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE. If your card has to be replaced due to loss or damage, there will be a $2.00 charge.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR NAME OR ADDRESS, PLEASE LET THE LIBRARY KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

MAXIMUM LIMIT:
You may have up to 20 items checked out at one time.
RENEWING:
Materials may be renewed two times---as long as a reserve/hold has not been placed on them by another patron. If the patron owes $10.00 or more, they cannot check out or renew any additional materials.
RETURNING:
Materials can be returned to any PINES library. Patrons are encouraged to return all materials to the circulation desk. An outdoor bookdrop is available for after hours use. Please return audiovisual materials to the circulation desk during library hours, as they often suffer damage when placed in the book drop.
Materials should be returned on or before the due date. There is a fine of $0.10 cents per day for all materials except audiovisual for which the charge is $0.50 per day with a maximum of $5.00 per overdue item. Fines are calculated automatically by the computer. If they are not paid when the materials are returned, they will be charged to your card. Fines that exceed $10.00 will cause the suspension of borrowing privileges.
